What is the real difference between a counterbalance and a countermarch loom? Also, do you warp a Counterbalance loom from back to front or front to back??

I have a countermarche loom and am not altogether familiar with counterbalance looms. However there are some excellent articles discussing the difference both here at the Glimakra website, and here at the Leclerc website.
I'm guessing that like countermarche and jack looms, counterbalance looms can be warped either way. But don't quote me on that! :)
